We are a unique childcare centre nestled in the vibrant Mangere Bridge village.
We offer a home away from home experience for our young learners (aged four months to six years) while also combining the essence of community spirt that is Mangere Bridge.
Through our nurturing and caring environment, children at our centre are encouraged to reach their full potential. We have a team of qualified and richly experienced teachers who love what they do. As a centre we take our inspiration from a range of learning philosophies and have a particular focus on the project approach. We provide a child-centered curriculum that allows children the time and space to lean at their own pace and to feel valued as a unique individual.

At Bridge Kids, our space is thoughtfully segmented into three distinct rooms, each tailored to offer activities and learning experiences that cater specifically to different age groups. Our state-of-the-art amenities also feature a communal wharekai (dining room). Here, our preschoolers gather, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie as they share meals as one vibrant community.

Meals
We are committed to providing all children with a balanced and healthy diet during their time at Bridge Kids. All your child’s food and drinks are provided by us. All of our meals are prepared on the premises and are planned to encourage children to eat a variety of foods and to experience different tastes and textures from a young age. Our resident chef is trained in health and hygiene as well as basic food safety. A weekly menu is on display in the foyer for your reference. We are happy to cater for specific dietary requirements.

Welcoming Visits
We place huge importance on welcoming, settling, and getting to know new children and families here at Bridge Kids. We arrange welcoming visits to our centre prior to each child’s first start date so they are familiar with the staff and the environment. An important aspect of our welcoming visits involves inviting parents and whanau to share with us their aspirations, expectations, values, and beliefs.
Partnerships to Learn and Grow Together
We believe in creating partnerships between teachers, children, and their families as this allows us to learn and grow together. Building positive relationships and working collaboratively is extremely important to us and is the foundation upon which the centre was built. We welcome visits from family members and caregivers at any time and strongly encourage your participation in our program.
